Natina Reed Dead at 32

Reed was a member of the three girl band and she achieved success for the group’s hits ‘Bring It All to Me’

October 28, 2012 - Bring It On star Natina Reed, 32, was reportedly hit be a car in Atlanta, while crossing a busy highway. Reed was a member of Blaque, a 1990’s girl group and lost her life when she was struck by a car while walking on a state highway in Georgia. Police said the car’s driver called 911, while CPR was performed by a passenger in the car. However, Reed was dead on arrival at a medical center nearby after being transported by ambulance.

Authorities are trying to determine why Reed would be on the road. A police spokesman said the driver was not at fault and no charges were going to be filed.

Reed was a member of the three girl band that was based in Atlanta and she achieved success for the group’s hits Bring It All to Me and 808. She also used her successful musical career to move into acting, where she starred in a hit comedy in 2000 called Bring It On, with her other two band group members. On Sunday, Reed would have celebrated her 33rd birthday.

Reed left behind a son Tren Brown who is 10. Shortly after the news broke about the singer dying, social networking sites were ablaze with post for her. Her group member Brandi Williams posted, “the world had been changed forever, our lives will never be like before… she was a sister.”

Other music and entertainment stars post on Tweeter, Istagram and other sites. All spoke of how wonderful the singer and actress was and how much she will be missed.

It had been rumored that Reed was back in the recording studio recently with members of Blaque to record another album.
